I was at a well-known restaurant today, Thanksgiving Day, 2019. Upon arriving, there were two men arguing in the parking lot with foul language. What could have possibly caused such a disagreement? Could one of them have apologized, regardless of who may have been to blame? could one of them have refrained from arguing? Could one of them have thought that although he felt he had been wronged or disrespected, but he was going to use that moment to thank God for all the previous days that came with so many blessings, and he was going to walk away from the argument and praise God? Is Thanksgiving really just a day of celebration, or is it to give thanks for all blessings from God to each one of us—his children in the world. It is time to, hopefully, lay aside hard feelings, hate, being judgmental, arguing, etc., and to hopefully let those things over-flow in our hearts to live the meaning throughout the year because God blesses everyone throughout the year. Let us pray ceaselessly.
