How many people take the opportunity to help a stranger–a veteran, a homeless person, a neighbor or help out for a cause (a soup kitchen, etc.). We are surrounded by opportunities to give to someone in need. As Dear Hearts, let’s pledge to give and/or help more. All of you who do give and who plan to give or help someone, I commend you. God shines on those who think about and do something for the welfare of others. Prayer is one of the best gifts you can give a person, but when the person is hungry, it is better to give a prayer and a meal or a way to help the person to eat. When we take upon our shoulders some of the troubles of others, God will take upon His shoulders some of our troubles. I give a Shout to all those who have care and concern for others and who do something, here a little and there a little; that’s all it takes when many are giving a hand. May God bless each of you and all those who give from the heart!
