I have been thinking about a couple of my family members lately because of some problems they are going through. I always ask God to guide me in everything and that includes my helping others in various ways. One particular family member seems to put part of blame on God for his troubles because ‘God doesn’t answer his call for help.’ I asked him if he woke up with his eyesight, his body in good health, etc. to let him know that God has helped him, but there are things that he has to do to overcome certain things. I plan to tell him that some of our blessings come from our being a blessing to someone else. I want to ask him, ‘who has he helped?’ Has he given to a soup kitchen or went to help out at a soup kitchen or given to the Salvation Army or any of the many organizations that help the less fortunate; and what about family members who needed help over the years. We must understand that there is a Universal Law. Give and it shall be given back; what we do in kindness as well as the reverse will come back to us. Does he honor God and treat others kindly? We must realize that we create our world by everything we say and do and how we live our lives including if and when we judge others. No man should EVER judge another. No one knows enough of the soul of a person to judge him or her. Judge the act or offense of a person, but not the soul of a person. Pray for all–that is the very least (yet powerful) way to help another. Thank God always for His blessings upon us all and in our individual lives.
