Have you ever thought about just how much some people use their minds, mouths, hands, legs, eyes, and hearts to do evil? How many people focus their thoughts upon hurting someone or planning to steal from someone or thinking how much they hate someone? What about the people who use their hands to steal credit cards or steal from stores or from others or shed the innocent blood of others? What about those who use their eyes to derive enjoyment from pornography or other sinful things, such as enjoying the infliction of pin upon another? Some use their legs to go out and about to look for ways to get what they want no matter whom they hurt. And what about those people who use their mouths to lie on someone or speak evil against someone, and those whose hearts who are judging others or who are constantly feeding their hearts with hate, discord, wickedness, plans to war against someone, and those who are driven by their proud ways and greed. What if those who are guilty of any of these things, woke up one day and could not see, could not speak, could not move, had a terminal illness such as heart trouble, etc. What would it take for those people to realize that God has given each of us some very precious gifts. May we be mindful of this constantly by how we treat others and what we think and feel about others and how we worship our Lord.
