We are our brother’s keeper. Those who can give money should consider giving to the soup kitchens, the homeless, and like organizations to help in some way. Those who do not have money can still find a way to help the less fortunate: perhaps, calling the sick and shut-in to see how they are doing; checking on a elderly neighbor; helping to serve food at a soup kitchen, etc. If time and money really gets in the way, pray constantly for the less fortunate. Each one of us has a tremendous resource of prayers to pull from. After all, God gave us minds and hearts for the benefit of the world. Let us use them both for the benefit of all. God Bless.
